When I travel through rural communities, see old buildings, or a grand old sea vessel, I imagine the history of these places and things. Whether its a perfect foggy morning in Oskaloosa, IA, a working farm in Ferndale, WA, or an almost fatal fishing trip with my brother Walt, I continue to be inspired by these communities, the relationships they foster, and the landmarks they leave behind.
